Lance Thomas

Lance Thomas

Founder and President

Home – Pittsburgh, PA

Bio –   Lance began his career as a consultant for Andersen Business Consulting. After several years of working within the big consulting world, a confluence of situations and market pressures led him to create TekSpark in 2002 (originally operating as Independent Catalyst). Since its conception, Lance has worked to grow its footprint (TekSpark is a 100% referral based business thus far), passionately desiring to match client needs with the technical expertise and leadership they need to solve their problems. While he’s busy managing the firm itself, he’s also out in the field, leading global programs and implementations for some of our biggest clients. This has given credence to clients, partners, and contractors who know they’re not just talking to a generic recruiter, but someone who understands the strange but wonderful world of consulting.

Hobbies – Lance is your go-to-guy when it comes to a lot of things, both professionally and socially. Trying to find the best new restaurant to check out? Lance knows. Looking for the latest news in the business, tech, and sports realm? Lance is your guy. When he’s not busy heads-down on a client or collaborating on the future of TekSpark, you’ll find him doting on his wife Lauren, son Andrew or daughter Sadie, watching sports, or enjoying an IPA.

Megan Dagiantis

Megan Dagiantis

Director of Finance and Operations

Home – Chicago, IL

Bio – Megan started her career at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting where she focused on PeopleSoft Financials implementations. When the Enron fiasco brought down Andersen, she went to BearingPoint where she led several large global PeopleSoft implementations. Eventually she got married, had 2 kids, and decided to take a break from the consulting world. After a couple years of mommyhood, she joined TekSpark on a part-time basis to focus on recruiting. Over the past 5 years, she’s morphed into the Finance Director, HR Department, and Contract Admin.  She basically focuses on the day-to-day operations. Her background in ERP consulting lends a strong background for working with consultants to understand a client’s needs and identify the right resource for a particular role. She’s also passed the CPA exam, and is a Certified PMP.

Hobbies – When not working, Megan spends her days volunteering for recess duty at school, climbing “Mt. Laundry”, and uber-ing her kids to their various activities. She lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband Nick, and their two children.

Jacque Adamiak

Jacque Adamiak

Recruiter

Home – Pittsburgh, PA

Bio – Jacque started recruiting immediately after attending California State University. She went to an Employment Agency seeking help with her employment search. She walked in unemployed and walked out with an offer to work for the agency as a desk recruiter focusing on manager trainees for the retail and restaurant industry. Recruiting became her passion, and she eventually became the Agency Manager for the company. Jacque decided to expand her recruiting knowledge and moved into IT. She developed recruiting departments and sales departments for two firms, both specializing in ERP and CRM packages. Jacque’s passion in both recruiting and sales allows her to match the right people with the right company / project.

Hobbies – Jacque is a born recruiter, but at the end of the day her recruiter hat comes off and Wife and Mom hat goes on. She enjoys spending time with her husband Roger and daughter Rudi. They consider themselves “foodies” and enjoy trying new restaurants and experimenting with new recipes. When she’s not out enjoying a great burger, or shopping with her daughter, she’s watching or participating in sports. She loves: boxing, UFC, football, hockey, and fly fishing.

Mark Liberto

Mark Liberto

Manager

Home – Clarion, PA

Bio – Mark doesn’t possess the typical IT background. He grew up tinkering with technology as a kid, ensuring his hardware was always able to boot the latest game to come his way. Computer Science was an obvious choice for his college years, but he instead pursued the humble field of History. He was in the process of applying for his PhD, when a couple left turns landed him in an MBA program instead. We’re glad he ended up there. Since the beginning of his career, he’s been an incredible asset to any organization he’s been with; from a Pittsburgh based development shop, to his times as a brand manager with a fortune 500 company, to the client projects he’s managed for us. Mark is a very capable individual with high bandwidth, strategic commercial mindset, and someone who deeply cares about his clients and colleagues. He has a knack for quickly assimilating organizational structure and processes, and a devout passion for identifying ways to help technology make businesses run faster, smoother, easier, while delivering more value to its customers and consumers. He’s also a great teammate for trivia night.

Hobbies – Reading (from metaphysics and epistemology, to theology, Neil Gaiman and the Star Wars EU), gaming, cooking, playing guitar, hanging with his pooches Plutarch and Effie, and spending time with his lovely wife BreAnna.
